Biz Yenta Must-Read

I'm currently enjoying Dr. Ivan Misner's "Truth or Delusion: Busting Networking's Biggest Myths." As the visionary founder of BNI (Business Network International), Dr. Misner is quite possibly the leading authority on business networking, and this book provides a quick-reference, often surprising coaching manual on networking best-practices. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just joining the game, Truth or Delusion will definitely nurture your inner-Yenta!

Have you benefitted from this book, or are you a member of BNI? Share your story!

  1. Hello Marco, thanks for your comments about my book. I see you are in La Verne. I sit on the Board of Trustees for the University of La Verne. Great community.

  2. Hi Dr. Misner!

What a privilege to read your comment here on Business Yenta!

Yes, my family and I love ULV, and we certainly love La Verne -definitely two of the state's best kept secrets (although Family Circle's 2010 recognition of La Verne as one of the country's 10 Best Cities to Raise a Family may change that). :)

I also recently had the privilege of meeting Owen Matchell, one of BNI's Regional Directors for the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. Clearly an affable, hardworking, and effective networker.

Thanks again for your comment, and I look forward to nurturing the connection -and finishing your book.

    Marco
